Early footage of Bob on the Gramsbergen taken in 1997 using a PCB camera in a UK400 torch housing, a wooden cable reel with 100m of cable, a domestic VHS video recoder powered by an early computer power UPS. It was a real Heath Robinson setup and really dangerous – I remember getting electric shocks all the time as we had 240volt mains with salt water spray everywhere – a massive effort but definately worth it as we can look back on alot of wreckage that isn’t there anymore!
