On Thursday 20th March, we were treated to a visit from three members of Celtic Deep.
Celtic Deep is a social enterprise driven by marine biologists and freedivers offering in-water wildlife experiences. They are passionate about exploring the ocean and connecting people with the UK’s iconic marine wildlife.
Wow! were we blown away with some fascinating facts about dolphins and sharks. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for all marine life especially the sharks made it such a wonderful evening.
With plenty of exhibits to handle and examine, we certainly had plenty of questions for them.
Anyone brought up in the 70’s or after think all sharks are like the one from the film JAWS, and its certainly given their species a bad reputation. Through the insight of their wealth of knowledge you soon realise that it would be a honour to have an experience with these majestic creatures.
